Juanita Marie Savage Saul passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 in Sandpoint, Idaho. She was born on May 24th, 1936 in Coolin, Idaho to Otho and Marie Savage. She was the first girl born into the Savage family, and fourth in line of the Savage children. There were 10 children in all.
Shortly after she graduated from PRHS in 1955 she married Homer Spurlock from Oregon. She later married Howard Saul of Camas Valley, Oregon. She was a school secretary and continued to live and work in Camas Valley until 2019, when she moved to Priest River to be closer to family.
Juanita is survived by two sisters, Emma (Larry) Scott of Longmont, Colorado, and Dottie Yerkes of Priest River, and one brother, Otho H. Savage, Jr Bob/Bobby) (Carolyn) of Priest River, plus three sisters-in-law Alice Savage of Emmett, Idaho, Juanita Savage of Priest River, Wanda Savage at Sandpoint, plus a very special friend and neighbor, Duane Hoepfer.
She is preceded in death by Husbands Homer Spurlock and Howard Saul; her parents Otho and Marie Savage, sisters Mary Savage and Johana Blomenkamp, and brothers Edwin, Robert, Eugene and Vernon.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 19th at ll Am at the Free Methodist Church on Jackson Street in Priest River with Lunch to follow at the Senior Center.
