Joseph John Sheridan, 79, of Spokane, Washington, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, at Spokane Falls Care Facility. A celebration of life will take place at Newport Cemetery on October 24, 2025 at 1pm.

Born in New Rochelle, New York with 3 brothers and 1 sister. Joseph graduated from Mamaroneck High School. Went into the Air Force where he served at Andrews AFB in DC. FE Warren AFB in Wyoming. Nakhon Phanom in Thailand. McCord AFB in Western Washington.

Eielson AFB in Alaska. Fairchild AFB in Eastern Washington where he retired with more than 20 years of service. He then went to work in the Washington State Department of Social and Health Service. He retired with 20 years of service. Joseph loved camping, volunteering with the Boy Scouts and he enjoyed the time he spent with his many dogs.

Joseph was preceded in death by his daughter Jolene Beth Sheridan and son Mathew James Sheridan. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jean Sheridan, Christopher and Zinthia Sheridan and their 2 daughters, Mati and Tuly.

Two brothers, Author Sheridan and Robert Sheridan. Two sister-in-laws Leona Hamileton, and Kathy Kendrick. Nieces, Tabatha Hamileton and Nicole Hamileton. Nephews, Laredo Kendrick and Qwittel Kendrick.

Joseph will be remembered for his kindness, and willingness to help others.
