Joseph Daniel Barton was born 06/03/1974 (50 years) of Spokane Washington and his adopted home of Nordman, ID. He was sent to the heavens 03/28/2025. Joe served in the Sprinkler Fitter Local 669 and Construction industry. He was one hell of a work horse. No matter the job, Joe was there to jump in and lend a hand. He provided countless lessons to those surrounding him. It was the way he showed his love and respect. If you ever worked alongside him you surely heard, "work hard, say what you mean, and don't take shit from anyone," and "if you're not going to do it right, don't to it at all." Joe was a rebel for life with a teddy bear heart.  He sought adventures in hunting, fishing, snowboarding, water sports, and hiking. His love of the mountains and lakes gave him peace. That's where he always longed to be. He was devoted to his lifelong friends and family. Joe is survived by his Mother Luann Stephenson, Son (Joey Barton, grandson Joey Jr, born April 2025), numerous family members, and lifelong friends who all cherished him.   Join us in honoring the life and memory of "Dirtae" Joe. The celebration will take place on May 4th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Five Mile Grange. This will be an open-house style event, so feel free to stop by at any time during the designated hours to share memories, support the family, and celebrate Joe's life. There will be food and refreshments provided.
