John Leroy Sitton was born on April 11, 1956, in Newport, Washington to John and Rosemary Sitton. He graduated from East Valley High School in 1974. Johnny married Marianne Sitton in 1979, and they had one son, Charles Robert Sitton in 1980. He joined the Air Force a short time later, where he served as a firefighter for 11 years. Johnny married Dorothy Chord in 1997. They were together for many years.He worked in construction and park maintenance for most of his life and retired from Shenandoah Forest Park in 2021, where he was employed for more than 20 years. He was a hard-working man both professionally and in his spare time, always ready to lend a hand to family or friends. He enjoyed free time spent with his son Charlie, and his best friend/cousin Marv Eads. Johnny was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had a dry, infectious sense of humor, which kept those around him smiling, not knowing what to expect next.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, John Sitton and Rosemary Buck.

He is survived by his son, Charlie Sitton, and daughter-in-law, Melissa Sitton of Belfield, North Dakota, four granddaughters, Ehrinn and Mauriyah Sitton of Spokane Valley, Washington, Sierra and Serenity Sitton of Belfield, North Dakota, one sister, Kathy Johnson of Spokane, Washington, two nieces, Kara Martin of Buckley, Washington, and Kylie Johnson of Spokane, Washington, and their children, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service/wake will be held at a family member's home on Sunday, June 25. Please contact the family in Usk, Washington for service details.
