John Matthew Holm

November 7, 1942 - November 22, 2021

John Holm was born in Oneonta, New York on November 7, 1942.

John's career included working for Lockeed Satellites and Missiles Division at Vandenberg AFB, CA, working on L1011 airplanes for Lockheed in Palmdale, CA, and working as an electronic systems technician at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant in Avila Beach, CA.

He enjoyed building and repairing cars and boats, fishing and building and shooting off model rockets. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix or figure out. John retired to Priest River, ID in 2000 and liked nothing better than being on his tractor and working on his beloved property.

John is survived by his wife of sixty years Dorothy Holm, his two daughters Laureen (Darryl) Osborne and Kelly (Mike) Payne, his sisters Doreen (Tom) Russell and Susan (Bill) Doyle, his grandchildren Kristen Ramey, Kyle Osborne, Mathew and David Payne and two great-grandchildren Nolan and Oliver Ramey.
