Jesse I. Rock born in June 1947 passed away at Newport Hospital on February 2, 2023 at the age of 75.

Jess attended school in Superior, Montana.  He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1966 and was a

member of the 82 ^nd airborne division.  After being wounded in Vietnam he was transferred to a military

hospital in San Francisco and then to Seattle for his recovery.  Jess was involved in an auto/ truck

accident in Montana on December 15, 1971 leaving him paralyzed on his left side.  Jess never let his

disability slow him down.  He participated in Blooms Day in his manual wheelchair for a number of

years with one arm and one leg functional.  Jess attended River of Life Outreach church at Usk,

Washington for many years.  Jess loved Jesus Christ and never lost his faith in spite of his injuries.

Jess was preceded in death by his mother, Father, and brother.  He is survived by his daughter,

granddaughter, great-granddaughter, two brothers, two sisters and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be scheduled this summer.
