Jerry Lowell Larson passed away March 20, 2022. He was born September 19, 1941 to Norma and Lars Larson. After graduating from Newport High School, he reported to Army Headquarters and was stationed in Ethiopia for the National Security Agency. His life was filled with many avenues from flying his favorite plane in Alaska to becoming a fine rifle maker and building sailboats. He worked as an enforcement officer for the Game Department and the Liquor Control Board. He returned to Newport and began work for the Pend Oreille County Assessor's Office as a cartographer and an appraiser before retiring. He had steadfast attention to his wife, Josie, for 60 years and their son, Mark. At Jerry's request, no services will be held.
