Jerry DuWayne Allbee was born March 29, 1950 to Glenn Allbee and Lois Brown, in Caldwell, Idaho. He passed away unexpectedly October 9, 2019 at his home with his wife Wanda by his side. He was the 4 ^th child born out of 7 children. The family relocated to Oldtown when Jerry was 6 years old, where he completed elementary school at Idaho Hill Elementary and then graduated from Newport Highschool 1968. In school he enjoyed playing multiple sports but especially loved baseball. He is still talked about by his coach as the best 3 ^rd baseman to come out of Newport Highschool. He was very involved in activities in high school and was student body president his senior year. Jerry married Wanda Claflin in November 1973 and they settled in Oldtown. He worked in the lumber industry all of his career, beginning at Geaudreau Mill, Merritt Bros. mill, and retired from Stimson Lumber Company in 2006. He really enjoyed traveling to Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, and Friday night dancing, as well as bowling. He was a member of the Newport Eagles for many years. He loved watching football and being with his family and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his parents and beloved stepfather Max Orr, and 3 brothers Bill and Jack Allbee, and Stanley Orr, brother in law Rodney Claflin, sister in law Connie Masterman, and sister in law Sylvia Allbee . He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Wanda, daughter Amy (Mike) Marvin, son Brian (Jen) Allbee, daughter Tricia (Rob) Cross, as well as, grandchildren Caleb, Kyle, Robby, Corey, Brandon, Colby, Nathan, Justin, and 4 great grandchildren Chloe-Lynn, Temperance, Angus, and Rebel. He is also survived by Father and Mother in law Cliff and Alice Claflin, sisters April Zimmerman (Doug), Carolyn Knudsen (Pat), Maxine Corning (Steve) brother Terry Allbee (Cymme), and brother in laws Gary Clafin (Leisa), Mike Claflin (Margeux) and brother in law Steve Masterman (Jane). He also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as many close friends.

Jerry will be remembered for his ability to make everyone laugh and being known as the walking encyclopedia. He is already missed by his family and numerous friends. Please join us for a celebration of Jerry's life that will be held Saturday November 9, 2019 at 1:00pm at the Priest River Event Center.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.
