Jean Hanson Kress
Jan. 14, 1924 -Nov. 5, 2024

Born in Spokane. Attended Grant & LC.  Married & had 3 children.  Worked at Sherry's Salon until retirement.  Mom was a founding member and organist at Bethlehem and attended American Lutheran in Newport.
Her time was spent between Spokane and Diamond Lake at her cabin.  She loved fishing and made many friends and neighbors. Jean was known for her pies and cookies.
At 82 she remarried Bob Kress who was the love of her life.  They had 11 wonderful years on his homestead.  After Bob's passing she moved to Touchmark, before moving to her daughter and husband's home.
Jean leaves behind her son Alan, wife Marie, grandson Brady and great granddaughters Lily & Maya her daughter Kay, late husband Ernie, grandson TJ and wife Lauren and great granddaughters Winter & Mari her granddaughter Shelby &husband Ben and great granddaughter Solveig her late son Curt and wife Onwarin and grandson Inness and wife Tess and 3 great grand-children Echo & River & Maddie. Jean is proceeded in death by her Mother Marie and father Ed Froats, late Brother Wayne Froats and sister Rose Moore.
Faith, family and friends were the foundation of mom's life.  Our family is celebrating her life on Monday, Jan. 13th at St. Mark's Lutheran, 1pm located at: 316 E 24th Ave, Spokane, WA 99203.
