Obituary

Irvin L. Naff was born on June 13, 1938, in Deer Park, WA. He spent most of his childhood in

Colville, and graduated from Colville High School in 1958. His parents Garland and Thelma

(Derr) Naff preceded him in death.

Irvin was a son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He passed away

in his sleep at the age of 85. In addition to his wife, Barbara Naff, of 37 years, he is survived by

his sisters Judy, Dixie (Skip), and Nancy as well as his children, Mike (Sheri), Bobbie (Chris),

and Shirley (Rick) as well as step-children Rene' (Tim), and Carrie, 11 grandchildren (Rachel,

Travis, Diana, Kate, Patrick, Casey, Tiffany, Justin, Jennifer, Chris, Chase, and Codee) and 14

great-grandchildren.

He was a cowboy, a farmer, a fence-builder, a horse trainer, a hunter, and a lumberjack. He liked

to go fast, whether it was driving a car, a truck, a tractor, an ATV, riding a horse, or even his first

time on snow skis. Irvin and Barb had a farm. Over the years on that farm they had horses,

cattle, chickens, cats and dogs. In his later years, you could find Irvin in his shop, either taking

things apart or putting them back together again. Or you would find him sitting with his

binoculars and watching all of the different animals that would come down the mountain to visit.

(This included, but wasn't limited to elk, deer, turkeys, magpies, cougars, coyotes, anything that

could potentially have a target on its back.) He did love to hunt! The animals won't miss him, but

his friends and family will. May God bless those who knew him well. A celebration of Life will be held in the spring.at the Sherman-Campbell Funeral Home in Newport WA. They are in charge of arrangements. Family and friends are welcome to visit their website at www.shermancampbell.com
