Ida Marie Bigsmoke Campbell

Passed away peacefully in loving arms on June 5th, 2022, at the youthful age of 85.

Ida was born on May 25th, 1937 on the Kalispel Indian Reservation in Usk, Washington. She was one of 10 children,

born to Clarence Campbell and Mary Bigsmoke.

She attended Cusick High school, followed by the Immaculate Heart Of Mary Academy. She worked as an Admitting

Clerk at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane for roughly 25 years.

Ida had a passion for baking, specializing in anything Huckleberry and Fry Bread. She loved spending her days in the

hills looking for the perfect huckleberry patch. Her other hobbies included beading, sewing, crocheting, as well as

garage sales, sunbathing and going on scenic drives with a cheeseburger and strawberry shake in hand.

Ida leaves behind her five children, Dan, Beverly, Barbara, Michael, and Brenda; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Nick,

Danica, Cheyenne, Sarah, Mallory, Zoe, Valana as well as five great Grandchildren, Lakelyn, Sawyer, Elle, Ella and

Hendrix. Ida is preceded in death by her son Glenn and her loving siblings Hank, Daniel, Elaine, Judy and Garry but

survived by her other siblings Gordon, Jeanette, Roger and Patty.

She will be greatly missed by many, but we will always carry her memory in our hearts.
