Grayce J. Wallace

Grayce Joanne Henneck was born on April 10, 1947 to Guy James and Caroline H. Henneck in Long Beach, California. Grayce was the oldest of three children and spent most of her childhood in Everett, Washington where she attended Garfield Grade School, North Junior High School and Everett High School. Grayce then went on to Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington where she graduated after majoring in sociology. She was active politically in college supporting the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS).

Always being one to care about others, Grayce spent her career in social work positions for the State of Washington, working effortlessly to better the lives of children and families. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Priest River, Idaho, Grayce remained active and involved throughout the years.

Grayce loved animals and her garden and felt blessed to be able to live on farms with her husband, Garry where she was surrounded with the things she loved every day.

She was predeceased by her parents and son, Daniel Foster and survived by husband, Garry Wallace (Newport, WA); brother, Wayne Henneck (Oregon); sister, Trudy Roy (California) and her children, Michael Foster, Cheyenne Wallace, William Foster, Tanya Amante and Ryan Wallace. Grayce also had several grandchildren who she loved very much, Bryant Wallace, Dawson Wallace, Christoph Foster, James Foster, Dan Foster Jr, Lilith Amante, Hayden Wallace, Alexander Amante and Roman Wallace.

The family is planning a celebration of life for Grayce to be held in the Spring when all family and friends can attend.
