"Grace Ann "Gay" Warner departed for her next journey on November 10, 2022, after a good life lived her way and on her terms. She closed this chapter with friends, family, and with the Scottish pipe music, she loved the most. Gay was known to all who knew her as a fiercely independent person who loved her home and garden, as well as to travel, make music with her friends, craft endlessly, and constantly learn new things from the ground beneath us to the stars above.

She is preceded on this journey by her parents, John and Nancy Eckhoff, and her beloved daughter Arraine "Rai" Anderson. She is survived by her brothers, Steve Eckhoff and Erik Emerson, her son Christopher, her grandchildren Tia, Gary, Topher, and Cayce, and countless other family and dear friends. A gathering and celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2023 to share stories and remember all that Gay meant and shared with everyone.
