Gloria Ann Stigall "GLO" "gramma" "grammy", age 70, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2019 at Providence Mt. Carmel Hospital in Colville, WA.  Gloria was born on October 17, 1949, to Steve Lorton and Cora (Gracy) Lorton in Raymond, Washington.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Verdie Tom Stigall, also by her daughter Dennice Lynn Stigall, as well as her four brothers and three of her four sisters.  She is survived by her three children; son Dennis Stigall, son Oliver Stigall, and daughter Holly Stigall; as well as her sister Rosie and her 7 grandchildren; and her nieces, nephews, and all her great grandkids.

Gloria completed the 10 ^th grade in South Bend, Washington, where she met and married the love of her life, Verdie Tom Stigall.  Tom and Gloria married on April 29, 1967.  They foraged the forest to make a living, eventually moving to eastern Washington where they bought some property outside of Ione, Washington, and built their own home and lived, happily married, for the remainder of their time.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Sherman-Campbell Funeral Home in Newport.  A Graveside Service will be held at the Bay Center Cemetery in Bay Center, Washington, on January 2, 2020 at 1 p.m. where she will be placed with her husband and other family.  It will be followed by a dinner at the Lorton House.
