GERALD WESLEY WALLACE

1937 – 2023

Gerald Wallace passed away peacefully at his home in Idaho on August17, 2023.  He was predeceased by his wife, Mary.  He is survived by his son, Thomas Nephi Wallace 57 (his wife Dawn and step daughter Taylor 28), his daughter, Deborah Lynne  Krichman  56 (her husband Evan Michael Krichman, grandson Brandon Michael Krichman 23, and grand daughter Kaitlyn Krichman 22), his step son, Davy Jake Pas 72, and his step daughter, Mary Kathleen Van Marter 70 (her husband Jeffery William Van Marter, grandson Samuel Louis Van Marter 50 and great-granddaughter Jackie Rene Van Marter 12).  He was born in 1937 in Los Angeles, CA.  He served 4 years in the US Air Force.  He was stationed at Walker AFB in Roswell, NM where he met the love of his life, Mary Earlene Hubbard. They moved to Texas where he started his civilian career as an aeronautics engineer with North American Aviation, which later became Rockwell.  They moved several times, including to Austin TX, Anaheim CA, Suffolk Virginia, Simi Valley and Green Valley CA, and Bountiful UT before settling in Priest River ID.  He loved to work on old trucks and tractors and entertain friends and family. His smile, caring, and laughter will be greatly missed. Gerald requested cremation, with no services or memorials. The family will spread his ashes with Mary's by the creek in Priest River.  In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate to the charity of your choice in his memory. He would be honored.
