On April 15, 2020, George Joseph McGivney, loving husband, and stepfather passed away at age 58 due to complications from Pneumonia. George was born in Queens, New York on June 24, 1961. In the early 2000's, he moved to Priest River, Idaho. After he found Jesus Christ and accepted him as his savior, his life changed immensely. George married Denise in November of 2011 and took on the role of being a wonderful stepfather to Taylor.

George was the most amazing person, husband, father, and friend. He was a perfectionist! Everything he did was done with pride and joy. He will be sorely missed by all that loved him. George was preceded by his father Jim. He is survived by his mother Laura, wife Denise, stepdaughter Taylor, sister Laura, brother Tony, and his in-laws, Charlie and Emilee Brownlee.

Fun fact: George and his wife Denise share the same birthday- he is the older one!

A celebration of life will be held soon after the "stay at home" order is dropped. Time, date, and location of the event are still to be determined. It will be posted as soon as there is a set date.
