George Baxter Lucas was born April 23, 1961 and died at home February 27,2024. The seventh child of Robert and Bernie Lucas, he was a proud graduate of St. Aloysius and Gonzaga Prep. He kept in touch with his grade school friends all his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Bob.  George is survived by his son Wylee, 3 grandchildren and 5 sisters: Theresa Ketchum, Molly King, Kay Lucas, Nancy (Dave) Schmitz, and Peggy (Ted) Trepanier, as well as numerous cousins.  He took delight in his nieces Becky, Elsa, Melissa and Ellen and nephews Ben and Tony, as well as his great-nieces Zoe, Erin, and Ophelia.

George loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.  He spent his last years living close to the Pend d'Oreille river.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
