Frank Gillman Searles
March 2, 1941 – September 21, 2023
He left on the last day of summer.
White beard, gentle hands,
a good laugh, blue blue eyes
and No Bad Days.
Loyal, kind, thoughtful,
tough, cool and tall.
He loved little kids, blues music,
the ocean, nice things and vacations.
He took care of his loved ones,
cooked great seafood, gave good hugs,
looked good on a tractor.
Today we remember him and
cherish the time we shared.
A strong union man,
a friend once called him
"The Lion of Labor".
Rest easy, Frank.
Your work is done.
