Felipe "Tony" Mirabal passed away on January 6th ,2025 in Metaline Falls Washington. Felipe was born on August 27th,1946. Eldest son of Clifford Mirabal and Hermania "Betty"(Martinez) Mirabal Brother of Roberto Mirabal. Felipe is survived by Sherry Mirabal, his children: Rebecca Mirabal, Uriah Mirabal, Cara Tanner, Molly Mirabal, Franklin Anderson (The son he never had) and his eleven grandchildren. Felipe grew up in Tolleson Arizona and was a high-school wrestling champion.  After graduating from High school joined the Navy to serve during the Vietnam War. Felipe and his partner Sherry Mirabal moved to Rocky Gorge Washington where he built their first family home, a beautiful octagon house nestled in the mountains. After the birth of their fourth child, they moved to Ione Washington. Felipe spent his early career working for the Pend Oreille Valley Railroad and Later in his career the Selkirk School District. He was a high school wrestling coach for several years. Felipe suffered multiple strokes that forced him into retirement and made the last several years of his life difficult. Felipe enjoyed taking his kids fishing and swimming and taking his family on many family vacations. Felipe was a lifelong artist and spent a lot of time rock hunting with his grandchildren. Felipe was a kind helpful man and will be missed. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and condolences for Felipe's family and friends during this difficult time.
