Spirit Lake

Obituary

Our Beloved Emilie Barbara Bardwell, age 15 of Spirit Lake, ID passed away on Sunday May 24 th , 2020.  Emmie was born March 26 th , 2005 in Fort Campbell, Tennessee.

Emmie loved so many, and was loved by so many more.  She had a smile that with just one encounter with her, you would remember for life.  If you knew her well or barely at all, she always left you laughing and feeling beautiful.   She was a dreamer, an artist, and an athlete.  She had a goofy sense of humor that made souls smile.

She will stay with us through the many happy memories of her. When it rains, we will remember her dancing. When it's sunny, we will remember her drinking sweet tea.  And in the summers and winters, we will always remember her in shorts and a tank top.  She loved front porches and 1950's clothes.  If she wasn't dancing, she was singing to her pigs or doing flips in the yard.

Emmie brought so much joy and love in our lives, and to those around her. She will always be remembered for her gentleness, grace, and kindness towards others.   She aspired to be a nurse so she could help those in need.  Emmie loved Jesus, and one day we will be with her again in heaven.

Emilie is survived by her adoring parents, Chad and Nikki Bardwell, and Jennifer Bardwell and Bobby Panzone, her loving siblings Ray and Rachel (Bardwell) Gennawey, Micaela Bardwell, Paisley Bardwell, and Waylon Bardwell.  She is also survived by her grandparents, Barbara Bardwell, Tony and Becky Gonzalez, Stewart and Mercedes Turner, and Jeffrey Matney.

A viewing will be held at Sherman Campbell Funeral Home in Newport, WA on May 29 th from 12-5 PM.  Her Celebration of Life will be at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, ID on May 30 th at 11 AM.  A potluck reception will follow the service.
