Elizabeth Mary (Cameron) Watson passed away on March 11, 2025 in Spokane Valley, WA. Born in Vancouver, BC, Canada on Aug 3,1922, youngest of 4, to James & Florence Cameron. The family moved to Seattle in 1923, where Elizabeth graduated from Cleveland High School in 1940 and went on to attend the Wilsons Modern Business College in Seattle WA.

She married John A. Watson Jr. in 1952 (divorced in 1977) and moved to San Jose, CA in 1958 where she worked for IBM and started their family of 3 boys. The family moved to Blanchard, ID in 1966 where they lived on the Watson family farm. She worked as a typesetter for the Newport Miner for 25 years and was also the Newport Avon lady from the early 80's until she moved to Spokane Valley in 2018. She was a single mom raising 3 teenage boys in Newport, WA. She loved her church; she sang in the choir and played piano. She loved all kinds of music, and she was known to ask to play some of that good old "Van Halen" stuff.

She loved her family so much and will be dearly missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Alex & Rod Cameron, sister Eleanor Ptolemy and her grandson Tyler Vance Watson.

She is survived by her 3 sons John A. Watson III (BillieJo), Jim Watson and Joel Watson. Four grandchildren, Bettina (Watson) Meenach, Cameron Watson, Jazmine (Watson) Vosika, and Cory Watson. And 7 great grandchildren, Tyler "Vance" Watson Jr, Jayden Watson, Jackson Meenach, Sebastian Devoe, Lily Watson, Tatum Meenach, and Louetta Jo Vosika.

Some of Elizabeth's favorite sayings were:

"Oh Dear" "Mother, Mother Pin a Rose on Me."

"Too Old to Cut the Mustard".

"Ah Choo, Choo Baby" after a very loud sneeze.
