Edward A Taft passed away suddenly on January 1, 2023. Ed was born in Ione, Washington to Jack and Phyllis Taft. He graduated from Selkirk High school in 1971 and married Kathy. Ed and Kathy were married for 51 years. Survived by his wife Kathy, their two children Katrina and Smoky, and their three grandchildren Jared, Jack, and Anne.

Ed loved snowmobiling, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. He worked at the sawmill, cooked amazing steaks at Hoogy's, and loved muscle cars.

Ed did not want a memorial. His wishes are for everyone to remember him fondly and to enjoy their favorite activity in his honor.
