Doreen Shepard was born on June 8th, 1941, in Sydney, Nova Scotia Canada. She passed away on October 13th, 2023, in Oldtown, Idaho at the age of 82.

She met the love of her life Dan Shepard, and they were married on October 25th, 1958. They had 8 children, 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In 1974 she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and served faithfully for 49 years.

Doreen was generous, hospitable, hardworking, and protective of those she loved. She loved animals, some of her happiest memories were when they lived on a farm in Mica Flats, Idaho where she raised her children around a variety of animals. She loved to go camping with family and friends, sitting around a campfire, and telling stories. She loved flowers and grew beautiful vegetable gardens. One of her favorite past times was going to garage sales and getting good deals.

Doreen was a Home Health Care Provider. She taught American Sign Language, and was an interpreter at the Kingdom Hall, Assemblies, and Regional Conventions of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a pioneer for 4 years, and served at Bethel with Dan in Mexico City, Mexico.

Doreen stood firm in her faith until death. We are looking forward to seeing her again in the resurrection. Revelatio0n 21:4,5 promises "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away…These words are faithful and true."
