Donna Louise Bailey, 63, of Newport, Washington, was taken from us all too suddenly in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 4, 2020.

Born April 3, 1956 in Spokane, Washington, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy and Howard Van Slyke of Spokane, WA, and raised in a loving family with her five older siblings: Eleanor Borgardts, Robert Van Slyke, Clifford Van Slyke, Linda Benjamin and Gerald Van Slyke.

She is survived by her three sons: Jeremy Bailey and wife, Angela, of Spokane, WA, Richard Bailey and wife, Chelsea, of Huntersville, NC, and Jesse Bailey and wife, Rochelle, of Newport, WA, as well as all of her siblings, her nieces, nephews, and cousins, and of course, her eight ever-adoring grandchildren. She is loved and beloved by countless numbers she called friends, who are all grieving as much as any member of her immediate family. Our hearts go out to all who were touched by our mother's love and affection.

Services will be held at a later date, still to be determined, at which time she will be reunited with her mother and father at the Fairmont Memorial Park, in Spokane, WA. At that time, a memorial service will be held in her honor for those who wish to pay their respects and share in the memory of our departed mother, once the family has had the necessary time to grieve in their own time.
