We say good-bye to a beloved Husband, Dad, Papa, Uncle, Brother and Friend. Donald Allen Council went to be with the Lord November 16, 2019 at his home in Blanchard, ID. Born Jan 26, 1943 in Westfir, OR where he met and married the love of his life Beverly Sue Racy 55 years ago. Don dedicated 30 years to the United States Air Force retiring as Chief Master Sargent in 1992. Don was an avid hunter, loved spending time browsing antique shops with Sue, and was an amazingly talented artist, as many have been blessed with drawings and paintings from him. He is survived by his wife Sue Council, Daughters Hayley Council, Darcy Council, Cary Ancheta (Jeff), Son – Jesse Council (Theresa), Granddaughters – Christel Elrod, Ali McGaughey (Travis), and Grandsons Tristyn Elrod, Reese Miller, Great grandchildren William, Logan and Lenora. Brother – Steve and Sisters Delores, Diane and Susie and countless others that love him dearly. Don was proceeded in death by both his parents and a granddaughter Molly. In lieu of flowers, if you choose, make a donation to the local VFW in his name or any National Parks Program. You are missed More Than Words Can Say and remembered daily -your impact will last forever.
