David passed away peacefully on February 18,2026 in Coeur d'Alene,ID. He was born June 14, 1954 in Farmington, New Mexico to Raymond and Neva Sego.
He and Vicki met when they were 17 and 18. They fell in love and were married June 25, 1978. They were blessed with three children: Don, Michael, and Melissa. They relocated from Montana to Idaho in 1995.
David loved spending time with family. He enjoyed gold panning, fishing, and gardening. He liked to feed us all with his wonderful chili, fry bread, and cinnamon rolls. He kept the family and many neighbors fed with the delicious jam and jelly he made. He was a stranger to none.
He was preceded in death by both parents, a grandchild, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by his wife, his 3 children, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, a sister in law, many nieces and nephews.
He was loved and respected by many and will be forever missed. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026 at 11 Am at the Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River, Idaho.
