Dave joined the Air Force shortly before his 18th birthday and served for over 20 years. He served two tours in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1978. After his retirement he went on to receive both his bachelor's and master's degrees in business and started a career with United States Postal Service and retired after 18 years.
Dave married Kay Vinneau in 1963, and they raised three children together. Kay passed away in 1998. In 2001 Dave met Billie through their love of riding motorcycles. For 25 years, Billie was the love of his life, a devoted companion, and a source of great joy.
Known for his passion for motorcycles, he was an active member of seven motorcycle clubs throughout his life. Through these clubs, he formed lasting friendships and found an extended family. He is also survived by his great-granddaughter Brooklyn, his May birthday buddy, Maggie, numerous nieces, nephews, bonus grandchildren, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Kay; his siblings Nita, Bill, and Chuck; Billie's son Chuck; and his great-grandson Brody.
A Military Honors service will be held on June 12th, 2026 at 1.00pm at the Veterans Cemetery, located at 21702 W Espanola Rd, Medical Lake, WA. There will also be a celebration of life at the VFW, 300 W Mission Ave #A, starting at 2:00pm. Family and friends are invited to attend.
