Cindy Berge (Noble) of Priest Lake, ID, 63, passed away on 29 July 2021, at home, with her family by her side after a hard-fought battle with cancer. A private family memorial service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park cemetery on 16 August. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Cindy's life at Q'emiln Park, 12201 W. Parkway Dr. Post Falls, ID on 16 August at 2:30.
Cindy was born to Jerry and Linda Noble (Clements) on 24 August 1957 in Spokane, WA, and graduated from North Central High School in 1975. She met Butch Berge in 1977 and it was love at first sight! They knew they were destined to spend their life together, and 9 months later were married on 22 October 1977. Their life together began in Spokane and after moving around for a few years, they eventually settled down in East Wenatchee, WA in 1983. They moved back to Spokane in 2001 and retired in 2012 to spend their best years boating and exploring the mountain around Priest Lake, ID. Cindy had a passion for service and had a soft spot for kids and animals. She was very active in the schools in East Wenatchee and Spokane, where she was a paraprofessional. She loved to help kids in the classroom, on the playground, and provide support for kids with special needs. Even after retirement, she could be found volunteering in the schools around Priest Lake. She was active in her kids' school booster club, was a Sunday school teacher, in retirement she was a volunteer firefighter for eight years and served as the Coolin Bay Fire Commissioner for the last two years. Cindy was always up for an adventure. She loved to travel and was known to always seek out the warmth of a beach on Priest Lake or her favorite travel spot, Hawaii. Cindy will be remembered for her infectious smile that lit up any room she was in, her eternal optimism, and her infinite love for her kids, family, and friends.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Butch Berge, her mother Catherine Noble, kids; Michelle Corwin (Tim), Niki Wodelman (Eric), Shannon Harada (Jasen), and Tyler Berge (Andrea), grandkids; Andrew (Melissa), Madison, Carter, Malia, Kasey, Kylie, Kai, Cade, Brynn, and Kinsley, her first great-grand daughter Cora, her sister Stacy Hodl (Tom), and brother Michael Langenheim (Julie). Her parents preceded her in death.
