Christian Douglas Loutzenhiser (Jan. 2000 - Feb. 2025)
Christian Douglas Loutzenhiser, 25, of Newport, Washington, died tragically on Sunday February
23rd.
Christian was born in Spokane, Washington and attended Newport High School where he was an
avid runner and participated in soccer, cross country and track. After high school Christian
began an apprenticeship to become a millwright with Travis Pattern and Foundry in Spokane,
Washington. In his spare time, you could always find Christian spending time outdoors camping,
hiking, snowshoeing and backpacking or spending time with his friends and family. Christian will
be truly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Christian is survived by his parents, Tad and Peggy Loutzenhiser, sisters and brothers-in-law,
Alicia and Derek Pulsifer, Melina and Hays Harrington, Laura and Chris Whitehouse, Amanda and
Tyler Rux and Tori and Blare Fritz, and nieces and nephews Kara, Emily, Matthew and Nicholas
Pulsifer, Nicole and Branna Harrington, Ellie, Lola, CJ and Scarlett Whitehouse, Abi, Lilian and
Andrew Rux and Alex, Charlie and Evelyn Fritz.
Christian's memorial service will be held on Saturday April 5th at 1 pm at the House of the Lord
Church in Oldtown, Idaho.
