Obituary

Carol Moran (68)

Born on May 28, 1951

Passed away September 7, 2019

Her family was blessed to be with her in her final moments to say goodbye.  She was greeted in heaven by her mother Marilynn Burk, her father, Walter Lee Marker, her oldest son, Michael, and her stepmother Jaqueline Marker.

She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Steve Moran, her sister Marilynn (Frank Leads), her Mother-in-law, Thelma Martin, sister-in-law, Rhonda Bame, and four brother in-laws, Ron, Tim, David, Nick; her children Shannon Potter, Shelly McIlreavy, Melody Potter, Daniel Potter and Scott Potter,  Steven Moran and Amanda Moran; her grandchildren Daniel, Andrea, Derik, Olivia and Amanda, BreAnna, Evan, Megan, Brittney, Trystan, Christopher, Anastasia, Adalyn, Aspen, Trevor, and Sawyer and 9 great grandchildren; among many countless extended people that have become family over the years!

Carol loved her family and pets more than anything. Most of her days were spent with the ones she loved.  She had the most beautiful heart and only ever saw the good in people. If she wasn't home cooking and spending time with her loved ones her favorite thing to do was go shopping, regardless if it was an all-day Spokane trip or her daily stop by Safeway and Post Office, you would always see her with her hair all done and a face full of make-up.  She will be remembered by her style, her sparkling blue eyes, her sense of humor, and infections love for everyone and everything.  She will be incredibly missed! There will be a Memorial Service at Sherman-Campbell Funeral Home in Newport on Friday, September 13, at 3 p.m. to celebrate her life.  All are welcome to come and share their happiest moments and memories of Carol. Sherman-Campbell Funeral and Cremation Services in Newport is in charge of arrangements.  Family and friends are invited to sign the online guest book at shermancampbell.com.
