Billie Lou Borders

June 27, 1950 – February 9, 2025

Billie was born in Midland, South Dakota.  The 3rd daughter of William Millard McKee and Marjorie Ann (Kilgore) McKee. She was preceded in death by both parents and eldest sister Christine Joyce Prichard. Living Siblings are Eileen Ann Castro in Sandpoint, ID. Marjorie Lynn Hehman with her husband Doug in Spokane, WA. Susan Louise McKee in Spokane, WA. Kenneth Wayne McKee with his wife Sandy in Spokane, WA. Sandra Gail Christenson in Portland, OR. Gerald Freeman McKee with his wife Laura in Spring Branch, TX. Patricia Viola McKee in Spokane, WA.

Billie had three children and five grandchildren. Dusty Lee Borders and his wife Michele in Post Falls, ID with their two children Theodore and Frederick. Terry Owen in Spokane, WA with his children Caleb, Kate and Knox. And Wade Allen Kimberling in Newport, WA.

Billie grew up in Priest River Idaho and graduated in 1968. After graduation, she spent some time traveling around the US with a couple of years spent in Macon Georgia where her first son Dusty was born. She then moved back to Priest River and shortly after moved to Newport WA where she spent the rest of her life.

Billie had multiple jobs over the years as a cook at many of the local restaurants, and a couple of jobs as a bartender. At one point she went back to College for Typewriter Repair but this came right at the time when home computers became popular and so except for a few repairs for friends she was not able to find work. But she still had fun doing it and did not regret the time learning.

Billie will be truly missed.
