Services for Bertie Hellen Stigall will be on Thursday November 9, 2023 at 11:30 A.M. at Sherman Campbell Funeral home in Newport WA.

Bertie was born on September 17, 1934 to Wilce and Ella Hamlin. She was the 9th of 13 children. She met the love of her life while living in Michigan with her family. In 1950 she married Theodore Stigall and together they had 4 children, Vondia (Hayes) Arnold, Rozetta (Richard) Boles, Audie (Carol) Stigall, and Lonnie (Christina) Stigall.

Bertie's door was always open and her cookie jar full. She loved visiting with her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that stopped by for a cup of coffee and a smiling face. Bertie loved the little ones. She ran a daycare for many years. She was always available and excited to see her 12 grandkids, 29 great grandkids
, and 12 great great grandkids.  She was a huge part of everyone's life.

Bertie is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, older sister Darlen Short and baby brother Earl (Cindy) Hamlin.

Bertie was never alone in her 89 years. She was loved and always surrounded by family and friends. She was so very special lady and the memories made with her will be cherished by all.
