Bernard Eugene Walker
Bernard was born in Cottonwood, Idaho on February 13, 1951 to the parents of Gene
and Berna Jean Walker. He lived in Winchester, Idaho until 1965, when the family moved to
Priest River. He graduated in 1970 from Priest River High School and worked in about all the
area sawmills over his life time. Bernard was married to Frances Walker and the couple had
one son – Brian Walker. Bernard loved to hunt, fish, find arrowheads, and hunt moose horns.
He is survived by his wife, Frances, his son, Brian, and three sisters: Vicky Wright (Carl
Wright), Carol Walker, and Judy Dobler. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister,
Joy Picicci. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 24th - 2PM at West Branch Bible Church in Priest River, Idaho with a potluck meal to follow. The church is located at 3704 Highway 57, Priest River, Idaho 83856
