Becky Sue
Douglass
Dec 15, 1959 — Nov 2, 2021
Blanchard
Becky Sue Douglass, 61, of Blanchard, Idaho, passed away on November 2nd.
Becky was predeceased by her parents, Bernie and Bonnie Lang, and her husband Randy. She is survived by her brother Michael Lang, her son Brandon and his fiancé Jean, and her granddaughter Jada, along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends, acquaintances, and her dogs.
She is also survived by her current partner, Tony Walters and his daughter, Amanda, along with his grandchildren, Alex and Daniel. Tony was her first love, and they rekindled after the death of Randy.
.
She was the foundation that kept the Douglass family running and was an animal lover extraordinaire. She was very artistic and creative, which she passed on to her son and granddaughter. She loved time with family, shopping, and enjoyed the country life to its fullest extent. After 20 years as an Air Force wife, moving across the country, she settled into life in the meadows and mountains of North Idaho, where the family has lived for the last 25 years. She worked many different jobs, from civil service to nursing care. She was a woman who could do anything and did everything.
Having only one child and one grandchild, her legacy will be carried on by Brandon and Jada as they care for the family property. Her legendary crafts will still be made by the family, and the tradition of having more dogs than one knows what to do with will also be continued.
She left us so fast, and none of us had the chance to even catch our breath before she was gone. We are comforted by the fact that she is now with her parents and husband, along with the army of dogs that went before her to show her the path to Heaven. We love you and miss you, Becky Sue Douglass.
