Barbara was born May 8 th, 1938  in Pocatello Idaho to Lewis and Lavora Rogers where she joined her sister Jean and later her brother Joe. She grew up in Blackfoot Idaho, where she met Lavern Lamb, the Love of her life, in 1953. He stole her heart while singing Kaw-liga from Hank Williams. In 1957 they were married and started their own little family with 3 children. In the early 1970's Vern and Barbara decided to pack their family up and move to North Idaho, settling in Oldtown Idaho. They bought their dream property with pasture and a creek for their horses in 1974.

She worked as a cook at The Pantry in Newport for around 10 years before she started working in the Newport rout of Spokesman Review, as a Newspaper Carrier where she worked for 15 plus years. She ran that Paper Rout with great pride and always made sure Customers had their Newspapers in the correct spot and on time to read with their morning coffee.  Barbara retired from the Paper Rout in 1998.

Vern was the love of her life, but her Grandchildren came a close second. She will always be remembered for spending time baking with her granddaughters'. She loved sewing for her grandchildren, enjoyed fishing trips, camping, and listening to country western music. She loved showing her family picture albums and telling stories of the life her and Vern built together. She has 11 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. She is survived by her 3 children. Her daughter Marjorie (Wesley) Dailey, her son Jerry (Vicki) Lamb, and youngest daughter Lisa (Kendell) Wilson. Along with her brother Joe, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death with her husband Lavern Lamb, her parents Lewis and Lavora Rogers, her sister Jean Neff, her granddaughter Teresa Lamb and Great grandson Nathan Hardway JR. Barbara Lamb's Celebration of life will be held this coming spring, 2022.
