On 04-27-2025 God's Angels escorted Barbara D. Adkins spirit into Jesus' arms.  Barbara peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by friends and family.  Born 06-25-1943 Barbara lived an amazing 81 years.  Barbara and her husband Norman Adkins moved to Priest River in 1975 and married on March 19th 1977.  For 51 years they shared a lot of adventures, worked hard, made many friends and adopted many as their own who became a part of our family.  One of the things she loved to do with her husband was to go to the Hoodoo's and cut and gather firewood.  For 37 years Barbara provided In Home Care and Hospice Care too many.  She loved her vegetable garden, especially early-girl tomatoes.  She also loved her flower gardens and especially loved her roses.  Barbara first and foremost served God.  Her gift as a Leader and Teacher helped many of us learn how to serve God and follow Jesus.

Barbara is survived in death by her husband Norman, children Spring, Summer, Jeanine and Ben (Buddy), sisters Jeanie, Cheryl and Fay, many grand, great and great great nieces and nephews, many grand, great and great great grandchildren and all who she adopted as her own.  Barbara is preceded in death by her father George (Buddy) Hamilton, dad Howard Watson, Mother Helen Dean, sister's Kay and Margerie, brother Audie and daughter Fawn.

Barbara was a member of the Upper Skagit Indian Tribe of WA and recognized in the Hupacasath First Nation Tribe of Canada.

As those of us begin our new journey in this world without your physical presence and you begin your new journey in heaven, we know that we will meet again. Until then we know that your Spirit will be with us.  Thank you God for sharing your amazing Angel with us.

We know that when the sun comes up in the morning sky, there you will be

soaring with the Eagles so high feeling free.

The Celebration of Mom's life will be June 28th at Priest River Babtist Church, 618 Hwy 57, Priest River Id from 2:pm-4:30pm. We will be having a potluck. All are welcome to come and share memories and celebrate Barbara
