Amber M. Pike, beloved daughter, sister, fiancé, and friend to many, passed away on January 17th, 2024 in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho at the age of 36. She was born on August 30th, 1987 in Ronan, Montana to her parents Jeff Frye and Annette Norton (Frye).
Amber's memory will forever be cherished by her devoted fiancé Jessi Norton; stepson Gage Norton; grandson Hudson Norton, her granddaughter that wasn't born yet; Father Jeff Frye; Stepfather Lowell Norton; sisters Dawn Butcher, Crystal Frye, and Jasmine Callihan (Cody Callihan); brothers Jeffrey Frye and Joshua Frye (Shyan Watson); and her kids (dogs) Maya, Messy Boy, and Bear Bear, (cats) Mama Ktty, Kally, and BB. Amber also leaves behind a multitude of friends and family who were touched by her warmth and kindness.
Known for her vibrant spirit and unwavering love for those around her, Amber lived life with an infectious energy that left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. Her passion for camping under the stars with loved ones or tending to her garden brought joy into every moment shared with her. She found solace in the great outdoors while hunting or gathering around bonfires with family and friends.
Amber took pride in creating a life with her fiancé, from helping run their construction company to building their own home. She was a great partner, a quick study and was able to adapt quickly to her surroundings, she also had a great love for building houses.
One of Amber's greatest joys was spending time with those she held dear - whether it was sharing laughter over stories from their adventures or simply enjoying each other's company during quiet moments. Her fur babies were also a source of comfort and companionship throughout the years.
Her absence leaves an unfillable void in the lives of all who knew her. The memories created alongside this remarkable woman will continue to bring comfort during this difficult time as we honor the legacy she has left behind.
A celebration of Amber's life will take place June 8, 2024 at 2 pm at the families favorite camping spot on Squaw Valley Road, in Priest Lake Idaho (follow the signs). The celebration is potluck. Please bring a chair, your favorite dish and a memory to share.
