Adell Yvonne (Vonnie) Colburn-Kenmir joined the Lord Jesus and her beloved children on January 5 th , 2020. Vonnie was born on September 29, 1946 in Bremerton, WA to Delloff & Elsie Colburn. She went to Priest River High School for two years then graduated from Forks, WA High School in 1966. Vonnie had homes in Bremerton & Silverdale, WA; Coolin, Idaho; Forks, WA and then traveled all over the USA three times and then landed in Redmond & Spokane, Washington for many years. Then moved to Sandpoint and Priest River, Idaho. Vonnie was blessed with two children, a daughter Jamie Lynn born 11-21-1976 and deceased on 11-3-2016; a son, Adam O'Reily born 06-19-1978 and deceased on 06-04-2015. They were the "Light and Purpose of her life."
After the passing of her children she moved several times and then moved in with her sister Donna and Bob Bombino (Brother-in-law) where she passed away very unexpectedly, but peacefully at home with those who loved her.
Vonnie was very artistic and talented. She was a voracious reader, she loved all mediums of arts and crafts. The last few years she enjoyed bead and needle work, making true works of art and beauty.
Vonnie was always colorful, full of fun, humorous, and loved playing jokes on others. She was the life of any party. Vonnie had a true heart of gold.
Vonnie is survived by 2 sisters and 2 brothers; Patricia Nurnberg, North Carolina; Donna (Bob) Bombino, Priest River, Idaho; Ernie (Shirley) Colburn, Portland, Oregon; and Joe Colburn, Everett, Washington; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and special family friends.
She will be profoundly and deeply missed every day by those who loved her. There will be no service as to her wishes. Sherman-Campbell Funeral and Cremation Services in Priest River is in charge of arrangements. Family and friends are invited to sign the online guest book at shermancampbell.com.
